Welcome, this is Ptower dev diary 3.

Some people have asked me to extend myself a bit further into the concept and ideas behind the design of Ptower. So, this is what I'm doing in dev diary 3.

A funny rig to say happy new year.
Find the video after the break, featuring some concept art for the "hanging rocks room" and a full resolution version of the complete image.

Some things that are happening:

• Last weekend I was at the Global Game Jam in Bristol. My team's game "Senseless runner" was awarded the first prize. Yay!
  
• On new year's eve I published a new small Dev Diary #2: "Happy new year!"
• A couple of days ago I published Dev Diary #3: "Magic circles". I will post both of these videos with some aditional comments.
• I'm working on a small prototype to be released in 4 days from now (edit: It has been a bit more than that). It's meant to be used to help me in the process of finding a way to make a proper announcement of the game during late March. Click the image on the left to check some concept art for it.

Yep, it is. Having some fun doing the video for the first dev diary of #PTower.

3:00 minutes of concept art, sketches, prototype and silly editing + 1:00 of a time lapse of me doing some concept art of the tower.

A brief description on some work prototyping the movement of a player on a first-person puzzle platformer. I have been working on this design for some time but now I am taking it further. I haven been refering to it as P-Tower, where the P stands for a key point of the game that I am not revealing yet. Anyway, P-Tower sounds like a nice working title. Keep reading to see a snapshot of the movement testing facility.
